In praise of tackle boxes

Just a quickie this time:

As you can see from the photos of previous projects, I use a lot of SMT components. I like 'em.. they're cheap, compact, the passives often have better precision than you can get from through-hole components, and they're easy to store.

Specifically, I store them in tackle boxes. Those who fish know what it's like to try and organize a large collection of small objects, and there are vendors out there who want their money.

To the right is one of my current favorites: the Plano double-sided five-slot box. They only cost a few bucks each, and are good at keeping the parts apart.
